India : Congress to Tie Up with AAP

The campaigning for general election 2019 is at its peak and all the political parties are trying everything possible to win over their Constituency. This year regional parties are having a slighter edge over the national parties, as we have seen a lot of alliance between the parties. Talking about alliance as per the reports, Congress may shake hands with AAP over Delhi.

While Delhi being the heart of the country it becomes an important parliamentary Constituency for the Congress party. But there has been a strong condemnation from Delhi president (Congress) Sheila Dixit, Dixit said in one of her interviews that ” after taking charge as the Delhi president in January she felt that AAP is not reliable at all “. Along with Dixit other three presidents of DPCC (Haroon Yusuf, Rajesh lilothia and Devendra Yadav) are against the tie-up between AAP and Congress.

But four Pradesh Congress Committee ( PCC ) members,14 district presidents and other three leaders of Congress in a municipal corporation have written a letter of support to Party president Rahul Gandhi.

Since the Air-strike by the Indian air force in Balakot the party members are favoring the tie-up thinking that it will not be easy to fight against BJP with the issues of GST and demonetization. They thinks only the tie-up will make their strong appearance in the upcoming general elections. But yet there has been no official confirmation as Rahul gandhi was busy campaigning in Bihar and west bengal.
