Netflix’s The Witcher wraps up Shooting, December 2019 release date rumored

Netflix upcoming American TV Show The Witcher based on Geralt of Rivia is rumoured to be released in December 2019 and production of its first season is already completed.

The Witcher is a new TV series created by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich for Netflix. It is an American fantasy drama action TV series. It is based upon a book series namely, The Witcher created by Andrzej Sapkowski. It will air in 2019. It is directed by Alik Sakharov, Alex Garcia Lopez and Charlotte Brandstorm.

In this series, Henry Cavill will turn up as Geralt of Rivia and Freya Allan as Princess Ciri. Queen Calanthe will be played by Jodhi May and Eist by Björn Hlynur Haraldsson. Adam Levy will play the character of Mousesack.
Tissaia will be played by Anna Buring and Fringilla by Mimi Ndiweni and Sabrina by Therica Wilson and lastly Princess Renfri by Millie Brady

About the Witcher :

This series is based on Geralt of Rivia who is a solitary monster hunter. He struggles to find out his place in the world where people are more shrewd and wicked than monsters and beasts.

It is speculated that it will be premiered in December 2019.

Production of season 1 Of The Wither has been wrapped up and the full cast of The witcher has already been announced. The first look of Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia in the Witcher has also been released by The Netflix.

Although there is some information going around the interweb about the possible release date of the Witcher Netflix hasn’t made any definitive statement or announcement about it. However, it has been confirmed by the show’s runner and producer Lauren Schmidt Hissrich in a tweet that Witcher has wrapped up shooting. In the tweet she said, “That’s a wrap on season one! I have enough gray hair to play Geralt now, but it’s been the best year of my life.”

The rumoured date that’s been circulating on the internet for The Witcher is Late 2019 around December. This release date could be true judging by the fact that the shooting is done. But we can be sure until and unless Netflix makes an official statement about it.
