AI: ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE BUT REAL EMOTIONS

A.Artificial intelligence is an American science fiction drama film released in  2001. It is directed by Steven Spielberg and based on “super toys last all summer long” Brian Aldiss.

A robotic boy, David is adopted by cybernetics employee, and his wife thought he gradually becomes their child, and they develop a feeling of human love for an inhuman. He is programmed to love like humans, but still, he is not accepted by humans or machines. A series of unexpected events make his life impossible, & David embarks on a journey to discover where he truly belongs. One cannot scale down how such an intricate plot could be executed by superb perfection. Well, it’s a true masterpiece but unfortunately underrated. This movie is a perfect combination of technology, humor, eternal love, infinite hope, tragedy, and deep heartbreaks.

 STARS AS CHARACTERS:-

Haley Joel Osment as David, the robotic boy. To portray this fantastic character, he avoided blinking his eyes and programmed himself with perfect posture.he was the first and only ideal choice for this role.

Jude law as Gigolo Joe, Frances O’Connor as Monica Swinton, Sam Robards as Henry Swinton(cybertronics employee) and David’s father. Jake Thomas as Martin swinton and William Hurt played the role of professor Allen hobby.

YOU SAY VIRTUAL EMOTIONS?

A different movie from Spielberg’s other notable work like Jurassic Park and it proves his excellent directorial skills. This is honestly like the saddest & great heartfelt story I’ve ever seen & I couldn’t stop crying. David’s quest to find the blue fairy to turn him into a real boy is so touching and especially the part where he got his wish to spend a whole day with his mother made me cry a lot. He waited 2000 years to hear “I love you” from his mother. Are we so-called social animal (human) ever going to wait this long for our mother’s love? NO,right.

It just amazes me how, as humans, we forget child life and innocence. I do wish the compassion he felt was something resonates in life for everyone. You say virtual feelings, but this is beyond any emotion, and if this is not real, I don’t know what is.
