Margot Robbie is back as Harley Quinn after suicide squad in Birds of Prey

Upcoming American “superheroine” movie “Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)” is the eighth film in the DC Extended Universe.

It is directed by Cathy Yan, who is known for directing the comedy-drama film Dead Pigs released in 2018.

Birds of Prey is based on the DC comic of the same name.

The Birds of Prey is a team of female superheroes who fight against the crime in Gotham City. The group was originally formed by Black Canary and Barbara Gordon aka Batgirl.

What is Birds of Prey’s storyline?

The story will focus years after the movie Suicide Squad (2016).

Harley and Joker will break all ties together, and Batman will leave the Gotham city.

It is when two baddies started ruling the city. Now, it’s time to finish them off. Harley Quinn, joins the team, Birds of Prey with their existing members, Black Canary, Huntress, and Renne Montoya to protect the city from these villains.

The film will center around Harley Quinn. Thus it won’t be the official Birds of Prey movie.

Margot Robbie will be back as Harley Quinn after she was critically acclaimed for her role in Suicide Squad.

We will also see, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress and Jurnee Smollett – Bell as Black Canary.

Newcomers, Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain and Rosie Perez as Renne Montayo will also join the cast.

They will have a face-off against Ewan McGregor as Black Mast and Chris Messina as Victor Zsasz.

In addition, new entrants are also expected.

When will the trailer be released?

We can expect the official trailer to release by the end of this year.
