R.I.P Susan Bernard- The “Faster Pussycat!Kill!Kill! Actor Is No More

The entertainment industry had a significant loss once again. The famous American author, actor, and model Susan Bernard died unfortunately on Friday, June 21, at her residence in L.A’s Hancock Park neighborhood.

The Sudden End

The 71-year-old famous personality who was the daughter of photographer Bruno Bernard died apparently of a heart attack according to reports. Siri Garber one of the family spokespeople confirmed the news. It is still shocking to everyone.

Claim of Fame

Susan was a cult Hollywood actress of the 1960s. She gained her celebrity status after starring in the iconic Russ Meyer film in 1965 ” Faster, Pussycat! Kill!Kill!”. She is still remembered for her stellar performance in that movie. She also starred in many famous movies such as Necromancy, The Witchmaker, Stranger in Hollywood and so on.

Her Books

Susan was not only a successful Hollywood actress but also a critically acclaimed author. Under her name, she has six books. Some of the books are Marilyn: Intimate Exposures, Bernard of Hollywood’s Ultimate Pin-Up Book and Joyous Motherhood.

Beautiful Bernard

The gorgeous actress was once voted among the 100 most beautiful women of the century by Playboy Magazine. She was featured in the 1966 December issue of Playboy. She was considered to be the first Jewish Playmate of the month.

Daughter of Bruno Bernard

Bruno Bernard was a famous photographer and his photos of Marylin Monroe are popular even now. All his photos are preserved by Susan under her right. This pretty lady was also the founder and president of Bernard of Hollywood Publishing. She built this into an international brand and included the authentic works of her father.

Her book Marylin: Intimate Exposures was praised all over. She was invited by the National Portrait Gallery Museum in London, 2013 to deliver a stage reading f her book.

Fans are mourning all over because of the sudden demise of such a talented personality. Hollywood would never forget her amazing contribution to the industry. We all hope that her soul rests in peace. RIP Susan Bernard. Hollywood will miss you!
