Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory played by Denise Nickerson is passed away at the age of 62 in hospital on Wednesday evening.

Nickerson’s family informed everyone with a facebook post captioned as “She is gone.”

Last year Nickerson suffered a stroke at home and was diagnosed thereon.

On Monday, she was taken to the hospital, and then she was found to have Pneumonia and later was diagnosed thereon.

On Tuesday, she suffered a massive seizure, and then doctors put her on life support.

After that, her family made a page on facebook titled “GoFundMe” to help her to recover medical costs.

Before her death, her family said
“she was given morphine to keep her pain free and slow her breathing.”
“She has random and semi-frequent seizures, but their intensity has grown far less severe as the day has progressed. Things have been relatively quiet and peaceful all day.”

“We’ve had visitors to share fond memories, say their goodbyes, lift our spirits, and support us. We’ve taken turns resting, and crying, and coping, and back again.”

Denise Nickerson has contributed very much to our entertainment, and we pray “rest in peace” for her.
