Jay And Silent Bob Reboot Promises a Wall-Breaking Jokes

-

Jay and Silent Bob are returning for yet another film in the View Askewniverse, but the dim-witted stoners are same, just like old times.

Kevin Smith on 18 July 2019 dropped the first official trailer for the Jay and Silent Bob Reboot. The trailer brings the same stoner dudes and best buddies, Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith as Jay and Silent Bob. Like the previous film, this film also includes the list of the star-studded cast, cameos from famous actors and directors. Jason Lee and Ben Affleck who previously were a significant part in View Askewniverse, the fictional universe created by Kevin Smith are also on board for the Reboot.

Back in 2001, Kevin Smith wrote and directed the Jay, and Silent Bob Strikes Back. It revolves around two stoner guys, Jay and Bob after finding they aren’t paid for the project based on them. They set out to sabotage the Hollywood. This time around too, the things look same, they are on the quest to do anything to stop a reboot of Bluntman and Chronic, the same movie in Strikes Back, from releasing. The Bluntman and Chronic imagine the stoner guys as a marijuana-themed superhero.

The 2001’s movie was not that commercially and critically successful, but looking back now the flick is considered “awesome,” and that’s why the expectation from the reboot is little high. Anyway, one thing is guaranteed, a heck of jokes and wall-breaking humor.

Jay and Silent Bob Reboot are scheduled to be released on October 15, 2019.
