Shang Chi and the legend of ten rings, releasing on February 2021. Directed by Asian- American filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton, known for his collaboration with Brie Larson for Short Term 12 (2013).
During San Diego Comic-Con the makers announced that the movie would be based on lead facing off the ten legend ring organization from Iron man 3. The organization developed a treatment for disabled people, which provides them the ability to regenerate their body parts countless times. It also gives them the power to heat up their body up to 5000 C. Later, the organization used them as their soldiers to terrorize the world.
Mandarin was the head of the organization who was killed in Iron Man 3, However, as per the SDCC announcement he will come back as the main villain of “Shang Chi and the legend of ten rings.”
The character of Shang chi will be played by Simu Liu, best known for the role of Jung in the CBC Television sitcom Kim’s Convenience. Shang Chi is a great martial artist who had learned to control his chi introduced in 1970s parallel to the Iron Fist character.
This character was created by writer Steve Englehart and artist Jim Starlin and was published in the bronze era of comic books, i.e. the 1970s. Shang Chi often referred to as Master of Kung Fu and have excellence in the use of gun, nunchaku and later, he gains the power to create countless duplicates of himself.
