Rapper Yung Miami escaped from a fatal injury in a drive-by shooting on 6th of August 2019.
As per reports, Yung Miami’s ex-boyfriend, rapper Kodak Black, had threatened her that he would punch Yung in the stomach because she’s pregnant with another man’s child.
Yung is a member of the singing group, City Girls. Her real name is Caresha Brownlee.
Yung Miami posted a video on Instagram later in the same day after the incident. In the video, she assures her fans that she and her baby were “perfectly fine.” She also thanked her fans for their “sympathy, prayers and condolences.”
According to the local newspaper, Miami Herald and entertainment website, TMZ, pregnant Yung Miami, was seating in her Mercedes-Benz SUV. Suddenly, outside the North Miami-Dade music studio, she heard the sound of gunfires.
Yung Miami also posted a video on Twitter. In the video, she was talking to the police. Yung said that she had heard multiple shots which came from a vehicle behind her with its lights off. She said she ran for cover.

In the video, Yung Miami said that “I don’t know where they came from.” According to a report by the Herald, the police have still not found any connection of the shooting with Black. During an interrogation with the rapper, Black stated that he was not involved in the case of Yung Miami.
The rapper Kodak Black is still behind bars in Miami from May 2019. He was arrested for lying twice on forms to purchase guns.
The City Member, rapper Yung Miami had announced about her pregnancy in the month of June 2019. She was pregnant with her second child. However, Yung did not reveal the identity of the unborn child’s father. But she also has not denied the reports that the father is her current boyfriend, Southside.
Earlier, both the couple, Yung Miami and Southside had dismissed the taunts of Kodak Black in social media.
