American singer/ rapper Keke Palmer has landed a number as the third co-host on ABC’s ‘Strahan and Sara.’ The day time talk show premiered in September of 2018 and is hosted by The View co-host Sara Haines and former NFL player Michael Strahan. It is produced as an extension of ABC’s national morning show ‘Good Morning America.’ The Akeelah and Bee actor frequently filled in for Haines, who was on maternity leave and recently returned.
According to an insider, her chemistry with both the hosts and her familiarity with the audiences led the network into making her an offer. Palmer, who turns 26 next week is expected to bring in a younger demographic and increase the ratings of the show.
She currently has her plateful with her upcoming comedy-drama, ‘Hustlers’ alongside JLo and Constance Wu. She plays the character of Mercedes, a stripper, in the movie. The millennial diva recently took to Twitter to announce the release of her new single ‘Twerk N Flirt’ on Friday.
