After speculations of the release of the sequel of Matrix, going around for days, Warner Bros have finally confirmed the news!
WB has not only confirmed the news but also revealed that Keanu Reeves would be seen in Matrix 4, along with Carrie Anne Moss.
The creative filmmaker, Lana Wachowski, is the writer and director for the new release. Along with her, Aleksandar Hemon and David Mitchell will be penning the script, reportedly in the early months of 2020.
Though the fans have much appreciated the return of the couple Neo and Trinity, many have wanted Spider-Man to come back to MCU.
In the first Matrix movie, Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne), warned Neo that ‘there’s no turning back once you take the red pill.’ With much more advanced technology, the sci-fiction, is a movie, definitely everyone will watch out for.
Due to the ongoing clash between Sony and Marvel, and reports claiming that Marvel will no longer be involved with the Spider-Man Franchise, fans are disappointed.
In California, more than 5500 fans are planning to storm the Sony office, after an internet campaign to bring ‘Spider-Man back home’ was started.
However, no official statements have been released by Sony or Marvel.
The original Matrix trilogy was written by Lana Wachowski’s sibling, Lilly Wachowski. The sisters wrote and directed, The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions, which were both rolled out in 2003.
There is a possibility that the fourth installment of Matrix, may not include Morpheus (previously played by Laurence Fishburne) or the movie might be a prequel, showing a younger version of all characters.
No information regarding the story-line has been confirmed currently, and only speculations and rumors are floating around related to the storyline.
The upcoming film, a likely blockbuster, is expected to be high on drama and cinematic effects.
