Friday, August 24, 2019, Disney has finally confirmed that an entire, ‘Marvel-themed’ area of its park, called “Avenger’s Campus,” will make its debut by summer of 2020.

In 2017, Disney had launched an extension of the “Guardians of Galaxy” tower ride. This announcement came from the annual showcase of the D23 expo. The D23 blog describes the new “Avengers” training grounds as places where visitors can become a part of the interconnected, global story starting from California, to Paris, all the way to Hong Kong.

However, there has not been made any official announcement regarding the list of Marvel characters that will make an appearance.

Post the split of Sony and Marvel. Hopefully, Spider-Man will make an appearance at the themed campus. The Spider-Man attraction will be known as Worldwide Engineering Brigade or WEB headquarters.

Fans are also hoping to see Black Panther, Captain America, Dora Milaje and other Marvel characters.

Bob Chapek, chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, said at the expo, that immersive Avengers land would enable guests of Disney California Adventure, to join avengers and save the world.

The Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris Resort will be getting a ‘reimagined attraction’ featuring Iron Man.
