Lover, Taylor Swift’s recently released seventh studio album on the 23rd of August 2019 is bringing a new hype. It is her first album which is released under Republic Records. The lead single is “ME!” which is featuring Brendon Urie was released on April 26, 2019. And the title track was already out.
Speculation of the Album started this year only on the 24th of Feb when Taylor posted a photo of seven palm trees at her Instagram Account and later she confirmed that it was the day she finished the album.
Taylor asked the fans to watch the video carefully and find the hints about the album title. And the hint is said to be about her three-year-long relationship with Joe Alwyn.
The title track is the new song marks the fourth single from Lover, following “ME!”, “You Need to Calm Down,” and “The Archer.” It was recently announced that the singer would perform during this year’s ‘MTV Video Music Awards’ on August 26, which will be her first televised performance following the release of the new album.
“Lover” is “a laid-back love song that draws on her particular style of highly specific storytelling”‘ said Time, concluding that “Fans of the earlier week like ‘All Too Well’ and ‘White Horse’ will be satisfied with this return to form.” A part of why “Lover” Feels like such a throwback might be that it’s the first Taylor Swift song on which Swift is the sole credited writer since 1989’s “This Love,” released back in 2014.
