Every girl on the earth dreams about her wedding and that she looks like a princess on that special day. And so as Ellie Goulding dreamt about the special day that her wedding dress took 640 hours to be perfect for her.
It was the long-sleeved gown by Chole creative director, Natacha Ramsay Levi. The dress featured a lace adorned ruffle collar and sweeping silk tulle veil-both lovingly embroidered with the couple’s initials.
“I was so thrilled and excited to collaborate with Natcha at Chloe on my wedding dress. I have loved the brand and seemed right for Chloe to play a big part in this special day.” Ellie said, “Natacha worked along with me to design something timeless and classic, but with all the Chloe spirit. Natach is a very talented designer, and I have admired her work from day one. I have never felt more special than the moment I first tried the dress during my fitting in Paris. It was utterly awe-inspiring to see the craftsmanship and attention to detail,” she continued.
The gown was really splendid, and the radzimir petticoat also featured hand-stitched white roses of York, a sweet tribute to her Yorkshire-born husband, and is complete with the intricate glass beading. The work did not stop there for Chloe Paris and its artisans. The star’s hand made silk tulle Veil, and organza dollar embroidered with the bride and groom’s initials took nearly 591 hours to create.
Ellie and Caspar married at the York Minister cathedral on 31 august, in front of friends, family, and many other celebrities. The bride decided to take a blue Volkswagen van ride to reach the marriage venue, as crowds of fans waited outside the venue. Ellie’s bridesmaids matched the singer, as they sported long white dresses, while the groom looked dapper in a smart suit with tails.
