Mark Ruffalo shared a throwback picture from the movie “Zodiac” along with Robert Downey Jr. The film directed by David Fincher was released in 2007. This throwback picture surely took the fans to the good old days, before Robert Downey Jr and Mark became “Science Bro” in the MCU world.
RDJ and Mark have shared a cordial relationship just like their alter egos Tony Stark and Bruce Banner in Marvel world. Since the inception of “Avengers” in 2012, where the duos impeccable equation was highly appreciated, they have come a long way. They have worked together in the other installments of this lucrative franchise like “Iron Man 3”, “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” “Avengers: Infinity War.” Their onscreen relationship is quite akin to their off-screen friendship as well.
But fans would be surprised to know that before MCU, these two actors shared the screen together in a film called “Zodiac.” The film also featured Jake Gyllenhal, our very own Mysterio from “Spider-man: Far from Home.” “Zodiac” which was released in 2007, is a crime thriller directed by David Fincher. It is an adaptation of Robert Graysmith’s 1986 non-fiction novel of the same name. All the three actors essayed pivotal roles in this crime thriller, Jake played the role of Graysmith, Downey played Paul Avery, and Mark played the role of Inspector Dave Toschi. Unlike in MCU where both the characters went along pretty well, in this film the two characters Avery and Insp. Toschi didn’t share an amiable relationship.
Mark Shared a throwback picture from the airplane scene from the film. With the picture, a cute caption followed which made it all the more adorable:” Before we were the #ScienceBros, we were # DetectiveBros. #FBF #ZODIAC”.
Mark is all set to unite with his other “Avenger’s” co-stars for the upcoming Disney Prime animated series “What If?”. Along with Chris Evans and Chirs Hemsworth he will to give his voiceover for one of the episodes.
