Kristen Steward has been our all time favourite by her iconic character as Bella Swan in Twilight. She recently revealed that she would be interested in starring in Batman in which her ex beau Robert Pattinson is already in lead role. However, it seems like her co-star Anthony Mackie has something different in mind for her.

During the Toronto International Film Festival, both Kristen and Anthony were present for the promotion of their upcoming film. Mackie will be starring in Marvel Comic’s upcoming series “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier”, which is to be aired on Disney+. Well, Mackie did not give any inside information about the upcoming series, which also has Sebastian Stan along with Mackie. When Anthony was asked about the involvement of any gay character in the show, he was quick enough to respond with Kristen Stewart’s name. He shared that she would be the perfect fit for the role of gay Captain America, if there were room for a gay character in the series.

Earlier Kristen had confessed to a media source that she had been told several times to hide her sexuality and it would create an opportunity for her to grab a role in MCU. But Mackie’s comment was surely very encouraging against the bias towards gay actors. Also, Marvel’s fate is changing, as they have themselves confirmed that their first gay superhero will star in The Eternals. This certainly would be a very woke addition and it would create an example in superhero genre to encourage the participation of more and more queer actors. Now, we can assume that Kristen’s sexuality won’t be an obstacle for her to grab the role of a gay superhero in any upcoming Marvel additions.
