Square Enix, the developer of the Final Fantasy video game series, is all set to release a brand new trailer of the Final Fantasy VII Remake during the Tokyo Games Show 2019. Designer Tetsuya Nomura has confirmed the same on the game’s official twitter handle. He wrote, “We haven’t revealed anything about #FF7R for a while, but will soon be unveiling a new trailer to go with #TGS2019, being held from the 12th of September.”
Square Enix’s Japanese edition website also provides testimony to this fact. According to a timer clock on the site, the ‘new trailer’ will be out by 10:00 AM ET (7:30 PM IST). Although there is some time left for the game to arrive, the fans worldwide can’t wait to unveil what’s in stock for them.
There has been a rising curiosity among the fans since the last trailer was showcased in E3 2019. The trailer gave a generous amount of sneak-peak at the remake’s updated take on Midgar and the iconic train sequence and also featured everyone’s favorite punching and kicking bad-ass, Tifa. The trailer also showed off some game-play, including a look at the combat with multiple characters getting stuck involved in the action.
The game is set to release in an episodic format, and the first episode scheduled to hit the screens by March 2020 will cover Midgar. The game initially would be released for the PS4, so the Xbox fans have to wait for some more time until any official communication comes in this regard.
The Tokyo Games Show will be held from September 12th to September 15th. All the fans are eyeing the event to witness the exciting new updates that would be offered to them. Besides, the unveiling of the new Final Fantasy VII Remake trailer the show’s lineup includes a host of other exciting games like Yakuza 7, Project Resistance, etc.
For those who are not aware, Final Fantasy is a Japanese science-fantasy media franchise created by Hironobu Sakaguchi and developed and owned by Square Enix. The franchise revolves around a series of fantasy and science fantasy role-playing video games. The first game showcased on December 1987 and their latest release was Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers in July 2019.
