A few days back, Phoebe Buffay aka Lisa Kudrow, talked about the struggle she faced while doing the role of Phoebe in Friends in an interview. People have been watching their favorite sitcom romance and comedy show “Friends” for 25years now with which many fans have fallen for the characters Rachel Greene, Monica Geller, Phoebe Buffay, Joey Tribbiani, Chandler Bing and Ross Geller. Many have made it like their routine for taking a pill of one episode of Friends daily. But as the popular show is bidding a goodbye both the actors and fans have candid moments to share for the show especially the cast of the show who have spent so many days shooting and even knowing each other.
In the upcoming episode of Hiking With Kevin, Saturday Night Live alum Kevin Nealon had Lisa Kudrow as the guest of honor who on retrospecting the days back shared her utmost struggle which she faced while playing the role Phoeba as it was so different from her. At that time it was her co-actor Matt LeBlanc popularly known as Joey from Friends who came to her rescue every time she needed a helping hand.
Lisa got emotional when she got candid about her auditions in Friends season 3 where she passed the auditions only due to the reason that she was the only one who could cope with the audition process. The struggle became the highest in this season as she kept on working hard on being Phoebe this time.
But many fans feel that it was Matt’s charm that worked on Lisa which ended her getting Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for season 4 at the Emmy’s.
Recalling the old memories, Kudrow said whenever she felt low Matt said that she is overthinking and that is the reason this tension is coming. She needs to relax as she has been doing this character for so many years now. This boosted her mindset, and thus she kept on performing as she used to earlier.
The ‘Dumb Girl” actress would love to go for a reunion if conducted as she misses her co-actors along with Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer who given a chance would never miss such a reunion.
