Apple TV+ To Go Live On November 1st
In the recent event. Apple has announced about Apple TV’s live streaming in November. The premium cost will be Rs 99/month. The investment is close to 2 million dollars to provide the users with original content.
Big Hollywood names are there on the board. The names include Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston, Steven Spielberg, and Oprah Winfrey. They would be preparing the list for the growing and documentary series.
How Tough Would The Competition Be?

Netflix offers three subscription plans. Rs 499 (one screen), Rs 649 (two screens) and Rs 799 for four screens. More 22 movies to be launched by Netflix basing on Indian content. Eight are already out with other 14 in the way. The release includes nine originals too. They are Mumbai Indians, based on IPL, Mighty Little Bheem, and Midnight’s Children. Currently, Netflix is running with 11 million users.
Amazon Prime charges for Rs 999/year. At present, it has 13 million subscribers. Originals, Breathe Season 2, Inside Edge Season 2, The Forgotten Army, The Family Man is on the way to be released in India.
Hotstar charges Rs 999/year to enjoy its premium service and Rs365/year as Hotstar VIP. It has a massive collection of 300 million subscribers. It is mainly based on sports content, and after successful completion of the IPL, it is streaming Pro Kabadi league now.
Sony Liv with it’s 70 million active users mainly focuses on sports too. Streams live reports and footage of the cricket series’ going on. It even streams football, WWE and many other sports.
Zee5 with a massive collection again with close to 75 million users has 25 shows of its own. It is currently planning to launch close to 80 shows soon.
