Miley Cyrus, Lana Del Rey, and Ariana Grande just released their “Don’t Call Me Angel” video which will serve as a soundtrack for the upcoming movie “Charlie’s Angels” starring Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska. The Hannah Montana star is on thug mode in the video and can be seen roughing up a guy tied to a chair. His resemblance to Miley’s ex, actor Liam Hemsworth got many fans speculating if it was a diss at the “Hunger Games” actor.
“Don’t call me angel when I’m a mess, Don’t call me angel when I get undressed. You know, I don’t like that, boy uh, I make money, and I write the checks. So say my name with a little respect. All my girls successful, and you’re just our guest”. The title of the song, “Don’t Call Me Angel” reminded many fans of the nickname that Liam had for Miley, ‘Angel.’ On several occasions and in multiple Instagram posts the “Last Song” actor has referred to his then-girlfriend/wife Miley Cyrus as his ‘Angel.’
The 26-year-old recently released her single “Slide Away” which stirred up speculations that the song was about Miley’s relationship with Liam and how they grew apart as they evolved. Maybe we are reading too much into her new Collab with Ariana and Lana Del Rey and should just enjoy the music and visuals. Apart from all that, the trio looks stunning in the MV with Miley sporting rock hard abs which she acquired by practicing ashtanga, an intense form of yoga that helps build core strength and flexibility according to Women’s Health Australia.
