Humanity has never been so distressing until when dozens watched a teen being stabbed to death rather than helping him out. The police even claimed that the lookers-on the scene would love to shoot video rather than aiding the victim.
The attacked happened in Oceanside, which believed to be a Long Island community that is somewhat like 30 miles east of Manhattan, New York City. The sitting duck was a 16-year-old teen that comes by the name Khaseen Morris. Morris, with his 17-year-old friend, became the target of after school brawl in the front of a pizzeria in the mall’s parking area. Morris was stabbed on his chest while the friend got a broken arm.
This horrible act of stabbing was carried out by 18-year-old, Tyler Flach. Nassau County police said that he has been under arrest and is convicted of the murder of Khaseen Morris. Tyler would be indicted on Thursday.
The act of killing was obviously disturbing, but what more hideous was the people watching it and doing nothing. There were enough spectators who could have abandoned the attack, apparently saving the life of 16-year-old. But they wouldn’t do it; they instead would love to capture the moment and share through their social media.
The reason behind the attack, according to Nassau County Det. Lt. Stephen Fitzpatrick is that over a girl related, something she has to do with who might she be dating. 60 teens were beside the brawl watching and recording. Fitzpatrick later requested the kids on the scene to come forward and help with the investigation.
According to family, Khaseen, a new kid at Oceanside High School, walked a girl home after a Sunday party. The girl then, with a purpose to make her ex-boyfriend jealous, told the other guy did the honor. Enraged and exasperated, the ex-boyfriend carried out this horrendous act.
