Trav Shares Musical Video
After waiting for a long time, Travis Scott has finally answered the anxieties of his fans delivering his latest track “Highest in the Room” along with an accompanying music video.
This track has become a fan favorite, although it’s only being performed briefly by La Flame. Recently Travis took to Instagram, where he posted a series of artwork for the track and revealed a release date sending fans into utter waiting. “Highest in the Room” portrays a looping guitar-driven cut with La Flame switching between laidback lines of “She fill my mind up with ideas/I’m the highest in the room/Hope I make it out of here” and tough-hitting verses that match the pounding drums musically. As expected, the track is rounded up by some expert auto-tune crooning and glorious expressive adlibs.
Travis Scott did also release a selection of merchandise for “Highest in the Room,” which features a tie-dye shirt, picture disk, vinyl, cd, and cassette versions of the single.
Trav rhymes of the same presume about Kylie Jenner on the chorus. Jenner spoke for the first time on Thursday (Oct. 3) amidst the “temporary breakup” rumors saying she was in the right place with Scott, and their first priority would be taking care of their daughter amicably.
Travis said, “Yeah, I mean, I’m in no rush frankly, but I’m taking my time to come up with the next album. I’m always down to drop music and serve some packs to the fans. It’s time for the fans to eat.”
La Flame also hopped on Beats 1 with Zane Lowe on Thursday (Oct. 3) to talk about his latest single and what’s possible to come along with it. “I’m at the point where I’m just trying to cook up some dope shit and drop ‘Highest in the Room,’ and maybe put something around it,” he further added.
