As the enigmatic superhero Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Black Widow, Actor Robert Downey Jr. will return.
Downey will once again be represented in the prequel Black Widow, which will be released in 2020, reports Deadline.com. Downey Jr, who won the hearts with the role of Tony Stark, aka Iron Man all over the globe, this year offers adieu for his superhero avatar with Avengers.
In reality, the Bla
ck Widow of Scarlett Johansson, aka Natasha Romanoff, died in the film, too.
The protagonists are back as a prequel to the events of Endgame, Black Widow. The large role of Downey Jr in the film is unknown. After the events of Captain America: Civil War, but Avengers: Infinity War, it’s Black Widow. The film will tell Romanoff’s story, which will deal with her past.
This is more welcome considering how the possible return of Downey Jr. Iron Man was revealed. In a parental addition, Deadline reporter Geoff Boucher commented in his coverage of the 2019 Saturn Awards during the weekend which recorded Downey Jr’s win as a lead actor, “Downey will be seen in Stark’s role one more time, though the Marvel prequel of Black Widow in May 2020.” Downey Jr. was probably not a Black Widow and that this strongly implies that his role would probably be confined to the appearance of a cameo.
WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD !!
Black Widow is set to return to his archive in 2016 by the events of the 2016 Captain America: Civil War, according to previous accounts. The prequel should also offer us a glimpse of the roots of Romanoff, and it may go back further. The return of Downey Jr. could be limited to a black widow flashback series, given the history of Stark and Romanoff. Johansson produced her MCU debut as an undercover S.H.I.E.L. D. spy in 2010’s Iron Man 2 and became an employee of Stark Industries, who became Nick Fury’s private assistant.
Since that time, Johansson’s movies have been shown in six MCU movies, including The Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, 2015 Avengers: Ultron Age, 2018 Avengers: Infinity War, and the aforesaid Final Game and Civil War. Some call Black Widow the swansong of Johansson. But if Marvel is happy with his business prospectives, he could quickly generate sequels of his own.
Black Widow is due to release in India and other places on May 1, 2020.
