Felicity Huffman’s “Desperate Housewives” co-star, Ricardo Chavira, slammed her light prison sentence in the college admissions scandal as “white privilege” on twitter. Recently both Felicity and Ricardo had a short fight amongst themselves on twitter on the former’s College admission scandal.
Chavira who raised his voice earlier last month when Huffman was given a wrist-slap sentence of 14 days for paying $15,000 to inflate her daughter’s SAT scores in the complete college admissions scam. He tweeted on September 13th that Responsibility and Accountability don’t matter to many people. He calls the scam as White Privilege and expresses to know hoe this had nurtured for the past 8years is aware to him.
Huffman broke down in tears and apologized to her children at her sentencing hearing last month. She wrote that she apologizes to her daughters and husband as she has betrayed them. In the next tweet, she apologizes to her daughter Sophia where she writes that she was incredibly wrong about her and could understand her. Felicity wrote that she is ashamed and terrified then and took up the wrong decisions in life. She also takes up the responsibility that she has damaged her life and her daughter’s more by doing something like this.
In another tweet, Chavira chided Huffman, saying she benefited from white privilege during her years on “Desperate Housewives.” He wrote that eight years working on Desperate Housewive made some effect or the other. To this, Ricardo didn’t stop, and he made another opinion in his next tweet where he wrote that he had seen a lifetime of it being Halfbreed. He says that he has struggled with the intricacies of it daily with all the cultural bias that he has received on both ends.
Thus we just keep our fingers crossed on this catfight between the two and keep watching what is coming next.
