Nick Jonas revealed on ‘The Ellen Show’ that he will be joining ‘The Voice’ as a coach for its next season. Though, it was more like Ellen forced him to let the cat out of the bag on her show. Here’s the clip of what went down on the Ellen show. The Jonas Brothers were on display to promote their latest single ‘Only Human’
Nick is very excited and honored to be joining ‘The Voice.’ He will be working beside Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Blake Shelton. And as you saw in the video above, they’re already starting to build alliances with each other.
The next season of the show is to air in Spring 2020. @nbcvoice also posted a video of Nick sharing the news, and how excited and grateful he is:
“I think I’m actually looking forward to really trying to help any artist that comes on the show and wants to grow,” he said.
He added, “I’m so excited to be a part of The Voice family. It’s such an awesome group of individuals, and I can’t wait to help these artists really build and hone in to find their unique voices.”
Furthermore, the president of the Alternative and Reality Group at NBC, Meredith Ahr, said, “As a member of one of the hottest pop groups, Nick’s success in navigating all aspects of the music industry is exceptional. We were so impressed by his innate musicality, technical aptitude, and passion that he brought to Songland earlier this year and know he will be an incredible fit as a coach on ‘The Voice.'”
In addition to music, Nick Jonas is also making it big as an actor. He will be seen in the next ‘Jumanji’ movie coming out on 13 December 2019.
