Earlier this month, Kevin Hart was involved in a car crash along with two other people. He suffered some major back injuries due to the crash.
Hart was in the front passenger seat in his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda. He was accompanied by his friend Jared Black on the driver’s seat, who also suffered back injuries. There was a female passenger in the car as well, but she only received a few minor injuries. The accident happened on Mulholland Highway in Calabasas on 1st September.
Kevin suffered three spine fractures, two in the thoracic section, and one in lumbar. He underwent surgery within a day of the accident to have the fractures fused.
KEVIN HART DISCHARGED FROM HOSPITAL
Finally, Kevin Hart is out of hospital after days of his crash. He has been discharged and is now recovering from his injuries in a rehabilitation facility according to the sources.
Sources say the 40-year-old could spend about two weeks in the facility, depending on his progress. “Doctors have cautioned that he may need to stay longer. The plan is for him to have a physical therapy aide living at the house when he is discharged.”
Hart’s wife, Eniko Parrish, was by his side while he was being transported. According to an insider, “He is in great shape and doesn’t need to be taking a lot of pain medication.” She has previously told the reporters that he is doing great and will be recovering soon.
“He’s gonna be just fine. He’s good, everybody’s good. Thank God.”
Recently, his ‘Night School’ co-star Tiffany Haddish said, “I don’t know if he’s excellent, but he’s good. He’s walking. He’s fine.” His Jumanji costar and friend Dwyane Johnson also spoke about the comedian in a show, ” Everything is good. I spoke with Kevin, I actually refer to him as my son.”
According to sources close to the actor, Hart says, “I’m grateful to be alive.”
