Ronan Farrow’s new book talks about all the horrors that Brooke Nevils had to face after filing a rape case against Matt Lauer.
Matthew Todd Lawer, professionally known as Matt Lauer, is a 61-year-old television news anchor. He was the co-host of NBC’s Today show for ten years and a contributor for Datelike NBC. He is a very renowned television anchor who has been accused of a rape case by ‘Brooke Nevils.’
Brooke Nevils was a famous NBC reporter who has worked in journalism for a long time and is also regarded by some as one of the best American journalists who had worked in NBC News. The 32-year-old has was fired from her job in 2017 after accusing Matt Lauer of Rape.
Brooke Nevils says that the decision if speaking out about allegedly being raped by Matt Lauer has affected her emotionally, mentally as well as physically. Brooke says that she is suffering from “Post Traumatic Stress Disorder” (PTSD) after filing the complaint, which led to her losing her job, in Ronan Farrow’s book ” Catch and kill Lies, Spies and Conspiracy to Protect Predators ” which is now available in markets.
Farrow writes in his book, “Over the past two years, Nevil has attempted suicide. She has been hospitalized for post-trauma stress disorder, descended into heavy drinking, pulled herself back. She has also experienced extreme weight loss. She’d lose fourteen pounds and had gone to the doctor twenty one times in a single month.
In the book, Nevil said, ” I’ve lost everything I cared about ‘ My job, My goals.’ The book talks about Nevil alleges Laurage of raping her anally in his hotel room at the 2014 Sochi Olympics, where she was working under Meredith Vieira.
