It was also stated that the film would be written and directed by Ryan Coogler, who was the man behind Black Panther 1 as well.
When asked about the date of release being so late, Kevin Feige said that it was because the story had been finalized, but some modifications and repairs need to be done before the shooting can begin. Also, the director Ryan Coogler is currently engaged in some other projects owing to which the shooting of the Black Panther 2 will start a bit later. Black Panther 1 was a raging success among the Marvel fans. It had even surpassed the collections of the Avenger’s Infinity Wars, which is considered one of the biggest films ever produced. The first edition of the movie even got critical acclaim and bagged three Oscars also.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
As Kevin Feige and Ryan Coogler, who came together to announce the film formally, the story and any hints about the plot will be kept secret until the trailer is launched. As far as the cast is concerned, it is being believed that no major changes will be made to the cast of the previous installment of the film. For the date that has been chosen for the release, currently, no other movie is subject to a release. Experts suggest that a strong fan-base, along with less completion, will result in soaring collections for the movie. While some believe that due to the uncertainty in the script itself and the problems with the dates that exist between the director and producer, the release date can be postponed. As far as the fans are concerned, they are rejoicing and eagerly waiting for the release.
