A stepfather in Australia sexually abused his 12-year-old stepdaughter by pretending to look and examine her body for possible rashes. After the girl suspect of his ill intention, the stepfather even tried to lure her by promising to buy a car for maintaining her silence.
Western Australia District Court claimed that the father from Perth had denied any of his wrongdoings. The stepfather repeatedly touched the girl’s body by taking off her clothes for several years. The reports mentioned that he even assaulted the 12-year-old girl’s younger sister.
On Thursday, the Perth father has been charged with five different felonies he had committed over the years that involve immoral sexual contact and misconduct and sexual penetration of a minor. Michael Bowen, the Australian Court judge, was upset to see such an awful incident in which the girls who trusted their father to protect them, actually abused them.
The court has registered him as an asexual offender and issued a lifetime violence restraining order against the two stepdaughters whom he repeatedly assaulted. The man was sentenced to serve four years and nine months in prison.
The victim shared an impact statement in which she claimed that her life has been turning upside down following up on the event. The statement even mentioned that the stepfather deliberately told her not to tell anyone because he told her that people might get the wrong idea. Sometime later, when the girl started to feel inconvenient, he promised her to buy a car.
The reports claimed that the younger sister was assaulted when he made her shower together and commanded her to touch him.
The girls shared their abuse only after the stepfather, and her mother got separated for good.
