Harrisburg: A man has been charged against murdering his girlfriend’s an 8-month-old child in this month. Due to his horrifying act of killing the child has suffered extreme injuries.
He killed the baby in such an away that the infant’s skull, some in the front of the head and others in the back, with corresponding injuries to the brain, as mentioned in the affidavit submitted in the court. The autopsy report also elaborated that “notable bruising” to the baby’s spine consistent with “compression and contact force.”
The injuries that happened are hemorrhages to the upper sternum, esophagus, above the right kidney, the pancreas, multiple areas of the scalp and the back of the neck. Also, the child’s liver has also been contused.
The girlfriend left his baby with his boyfriend in Mariott TownePlace Suites, 450 Friendship Road, around 12:39 a.m. on Oct. 21, 2019. And when she returned she found his baby in a critical condition. She asked her boyfriend about her child and he responded that he was unaware of his condition. She immediately rushed to the hospital but unfortunately, the hospital declared the child to be dead. The police started with the investigation and caught his boyfriend as a suspect. The surveillance video captured the movement of the suspect that he entered and left the suite twice.
Though the reason for the murder is unclear and the investigation is still in the process as he is the only suspect in this case. The suspect is in the police custody and the judicial proceedings will start from 27 November.
