If there has been a show that’s been decisive in Netflix’s history and that has been the most controversial in the last few years, then the award has to go to “13 reasons why”. The show is highly unsettling with graphic scenes, and the characters are teenagers who dabble in love, sex and drugs and all sorts of sexual violence as well as the daily happenings of real-life high schoolers in the United States of America.
Netflix recently announced that the show would be returning for the 4th season;h.owever, the season would be the last season as the main cast would be graduating from high school, and it would be the natural conclusion to the show.
Season 3 revolved around the death of Bryce Walkera, and at the end of season 3, the true nature of his death was revealed, which left fans highly confused as it painted model grey over the protagonists of the show. Another character to die on the show was that of Timothy who was later in the show revealed to be a victim of child abuse by his parents and to be exploring his sexuality Timothy was killed in prison and was then blamed by the group for the murder of Bryce Walker ending the case of Walker’s death.
Actress Katherine Langford who played the role of Hannah Baker was the narrator of season 1 and was seen in season 2 in the form of memory or Clay Jenson’s mental projection however she did not return for season 3 and most probably will not return to play her role for season 4 as her story seem to have been ended.
Other than the actors for Justin & Timothy, all of the other cast might be returning to the show while Justin may return to the show for some of the flashback sequences. No trailer has been announced for the show nor has any release date been announced, and the pattern of Netflix releasing the show seasons is erratic, so nothing cannot be said; however, the show should return around the end of 2020. The only thing that is known for sure is the show like it previous seasons will have 13 episodes keeping true to the shows name.
