“Lucifer,” this show has seen ups and downs like no other show on television. After being dropped by Fox after its third season, the show which was seemingly coming to an end was rescued by enormous fans support which let Netflix to pick up the show for a 4th season after which the announcement was made for a fifth season however this is a bittersweet announcement as the fifth season of the show is scheduled to be its last season. The season is scheduled to have 16 episodes divided into two parts, each of 8 episodes. The writers of the show shared a heartfelt message with the fans of the show saying that they shouldn’t campaign more and they have gotten what they wanted, and the only reason that Netflix and Warner brothers very even having a fifth season was because of the love and affection that the fans showed. As the number of the episodes earlier was going to be ten but was then increase to a whopping 16 episodes.
Coming to the story, we last season saw that Lucifer got all the demons that we are going to run free on the earth. However, he realizes that they would come back to attack once again till the throne of the hell remains vacant. In season 4, episode Chloe comes to terms with Lucifer’s identity as the ruler of health, and in the final episode, we saw her confessing her love for Lucifer. However, Lucifer leaves for hell to rule as the demons but might otherwise return to earth. The title of one of the episode have been released, and it is called “ really sad devil guy.”
The season is confirmed to contain one epic fight scene with Maze and a musical episode. The cast of the show is set to return to the show for one last time before we finally say goodbye to this much-beloved show. There has been no official trailer launch date, and nothing can be speculated as of yet season 5 may see a late March 2020 release.
