The casino is operating smoothly for the time being while Marty and Wendy grapple for control over the family’s future.
Marty, momentarily tempered by the previous events of the last season, prefers trying to maintain the status quo. Wendy, on the other hand, has engaged the aid of Helen (Janet McTeer) and drug cartel leader Omar Navarro (Felix Solis). She has been aspiring to expand the business further.
The two sides have been embroiled into a stalemate of sorts when Ben (Tom Pelphrey) comes in knocking and throws everyone’s life off balance.
Jason Bateman, Laura Linney, and Julia Garner are set to reprise their roles for Ozark Season 3.
Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner, Charlie Tahan, Lisa Emery, and Jessica Frances Dukes will also be seen in the new season. Tom Pelphrey and Jessica Frances Dukes will be part of the regulars for Season 3 while Felix Solis, Joseph Sikora, and Madison Thompson have been cast in recurring roles.
The trailer is out on youtube- giving a first look at the new season as well officially announcing the release date.
The trailer opens with a shop of a card, which cuts to a shot of a pack of cards being deftly shuffled. The scene morphs into fresh currency notes being minted. We see chipps being thrown with an air of dangerous abandon. A phantom dealer’s hand spreads the deck of cards as the screen proclaims, “They are all in” — a single blood-stained chip on the verge of dropping spins ominously as the season 3 title card appears.
