An eight-year-old boy from London was kidnapped by a homeless man and then sexually assaulted. The man has now been arrested and jailed for eleven years for the heinous crime, in which he abducted a young kid from a toilet in South London.
The officials identified the homeless man as 24-year-old local, Shane Upton. The reports claimed that the man abducted the child from a public toilet in a park in Southwark on 17 May 2019. Shane had planned to nab the boy, so he allegedly waited for him inside the public toilet. The unfortunate little boy entered the toilet and witnessed so scary that he had never imagined.
Shane tried to grab the boy and held him against his will for some moments. After the boy stopped struggling, he allegedly began to assault the kid. The eight-year-old was sexually abused inside the cubical, and once he was done there, he grabbed the boy took him outside the toilet and again sexually assaulted out of the park.
Shane was brought before the Inner London Crown Court, and the special jury members at the court found him guilty of the nasty crime he committed over a young boy. He was convicted of sexual assault of a minor and abduction of the child, with intent to carry out further sexual offenses. On Wednesday, 8 January, the judge in the Crown Court sentenced him to spend another 11 years in prison.
His arrest came after one of the members of the public noticed a little boy being taken without his will by Shane towards the bush just outside of the park. The eye-witness immediately phoned the police officers. The officers tried to apprehend the man, but he gave them a chase and was arrested following a short race.
