“The Last Kingdom” Season 4 Release Date
Season 4 had been announced by Netflix back in 2018. With no word of any follow up in 2019, it is widely believed that “The Last Kingdom” Season 4 might be released in the second half of 2020. The new season will probably have 8-10 episodes.
Based on The Saxon Stories by Bernard Cornwell, “The Last Kingdom” focuses on Alfred the Great and Uthred, a Saxon by birth but raised by a Viking. The story charts the two as they clash and struggle in their ways. The former seeking to protect his kingdom while Uthred tries to claim his Saxonian birthright.
Alexander Dreymon (Uhtred) and David Dawson (Alfred) are a shoo in to reprise their roles. Ian Hart as (Beocca), Eliza Butterworth (Aelswith), Harry McEntire (Aethelwold), Mark Rowley (Finan) will also be returning for Season 4.
