Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari, also known as The Rising of the Shield Hero, is a hit among anime aficionados. This is because it’s a brilliant plot, larger-than-life characters, and stellar voice acting. The anime debuted first in 2019, and immediately gathered a massive fan following. It should come as no surprise, then, that fans were clamoring for a second season soon after the conclusion of the first; it should come as a great surprise that the show was renewed for both a second AND a third season. Read on to find out about release date, cast, plot, and everything else you need to know.
The Rising of the Shield Hero has already been renewed for it’s second and third seasons. The official announcement was made at the Crunchyroll Expo 2019, on the first of September. However, we do not have an exact date as to when the second season will premiere. As more details about the series emerge, fans will surely get to know about the date when they can return to binge-watching. For now, however, the release date of Season 2 remains unknown.
All the members of the voice-acting cast are supposed to reprise their roles in Season 2, including Kaito Ishikawa, Asami Seto, Rina Hidaka, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, as well as their English counterparts. Hopefully, the voice-acting for the second season will be just as good as the first.
We hope that the second season will continue the fantastic adventures of the characters. Apart from that, of course, we also want the series to go in bold new directions that will add to the thrill, both for the showrunners and the viewers.
Where can I watch it?
