Teen dramas have always been one of the most popular genres of television. And teen drama that has a bit of class divide commentary has always been what everyone watched, despite the age and region. They give easy reasons to throw people together, and have reasons to build drama as everyone knows, one of the biggest struggles with people is how to handle the pressures of being not yet adult.
The Spanish show Elite is also a teen drama show. The show is also a thriller. Created by Carlos Montero and Darío Madrona as a Netflix original, the show has broke new ground for teenage dramas. Even with the usual cliches, the show tries to examine how each and every single cliche affect other people. The show about a bunch of teenagers from an elite school deal with life might not be the freshest idea, but how the show deals with the issues and what the issues are make this show a very unique and very progressive show.
