Attack on Titan Season 4: Release date, plot and everything you need to know about the popular anime!

-

Attack on Titan is one of those animes that blasted on the international anime scene as soon as it was released way back in 2013. The anime is based on the novel of the same name by Hajime Isayama and has managed to garner a separate fan base. The anime is gruesome and shockingly violent, with some serious philosophical questions thrown in the way.

With the gritty storyline that it offers, it is no surprise that fans are eagerly waiting for the next season to air. The anime so far has three seasons. There was a long delay in the release of season two. However, when it did air, it was able to meet up with the high expectations that the fans had.

Attack on Titan Season 4 Release Date

According to the sources, the fourth season of the much-anticipated anime will be released sometime in the fall of 2020. Although no official date has been announced yet, we are hoping it will come out sometime later this year. Season three was split into two different parts of twelve episodes each. Season four, too, might follow the same pattern.

This news is bittersweet and a bit of concern for the manga readers as they know how much needs to be covered in the upcoming season. Sadly all anime does not get the satisfying schedule we all want. However, the team behind the fourth season of the anime has assured the fans that the conclusion would be done in a way that will tie up all the strings.

Attack on Titan Season 4 Plot

The plot details for the fourth season of the anime is in a very confusing position as of yet. How the story will proceed is unknown, considering that manga is still going on. Although the manga, too, will be publishing its final arc soon, it might not be early enough for the anime to adapt it. We hope the writers of Attack on Titan don’t pull a Game of Thrones decision and ruin the arc.

Season three ended with the truth about the titans being revealed in Eren’s basement. If the manga is to be faithfully followed, then we will get to see a whole bunch of new characters. And the showdown as both the storylines come together in the climax.
