Temuera Morrison Will Return as Notorious Bounty Hunter, BOBA FETT in The Mandalorian Season 2 Opposite to Pedro Pascal

The notorious bounty hunter in the far, far galaxy is returning in The Mandalorian Season 2. The popular New Zealand actor, Temuera Morrison, will don the role of the iconic bounty hunter, Boba Fett, and will eventually come in conflict with Pedro Pascal’s protagonist, The Mandalorian.

The rumors of Boba Fett’s appearance swirled soon after the end of season one. A mysterious character’s shadow was seen over the dead body of fellow bounty hunter, Fennec Shand, in the fifth episode of The Mandalorian. Boba Fett is claimed to be the next major villain besides Darth Vader, but he fell into the death in Sarlacc Pit of Tatooine in Return of the Jedi.

Boba Fett’s appearance might shock and surprise the Star Wars fans because The Mandalorian is set after five years from the events of Return of the Jedi— that depicted his supposed death. Fett’s appearance in the upcoming season of The Mandalorian confirmed that Fett survived the fall into Sarlacc Pit.

Boba Fett is the unaltered clone of another bounty hunter, claimed best mercenary, and naturally skilled warrior, Jango Fett. Temuera Morrison portrayed Jango Fett during the Star Wars’ Skywalker Saga. Boba was hired by Darth Vader to capture Han Solo, and he succeeds in capturing him. Fett has an enormous amount of hatred towards Jedi after Jedi Master Mace Windu slaughtered his father, Jango.

The Mandalorian fans and Star Wars fan, as a whole, are highly excited about the return of this particular character. The character has even received cult status among the fans due to his insane popularity and performances in the Star Wars galaxy. Boba Fett’s inclusion in the upcoming season will probably make the series more popular and favorite. Fans are already going crazy over the whole season two things, and the craziness rose when the news of Ahsoka Tano (portrayed by Rosario Dawson) surfaced.

The Mandalorian is one of the few series that had completed its production just before the coronavirus pandemic started affecting the entertainment industry. The Mandalorian: Season Two is expected by this October and will arrive in Disney’s very own streaming platform, Disney Plus.
