Cyberpunk 2077 PAYS Tribute to Mad Max Fury Road, Reveals New Exotic Vehicle and New Area Ahead of Release

2015’s Mad Max Fury Road is undoubtedly one of the greatest action films of all time, and it has been five years since the movie got released in theaters. May 15 marks the fifth anniversary of the post-apocalyptic action film, and various actors, filmmakers, and fans paid tribute to remember how great the movie was.

The popular video-game company CD Projekt is indeed a fan of action and post-apocalyptic stories like Mad Max. The video-game developer and publisher are also working on releasing their own post-apocalyptic role-playing video game, Cyberpunk 2077, in the near future. CD Projekt understands how to tribute the great action movies like Mad Max, and to commemorate the anniversary, the company teased the Reaver for upcoming Cyberpunk 2077.

The Reaver is Mad Max: Fury Road-inspired custom-built vehicle that would be available in the upcoming video game. Cyberpunk 2077’s official Twitter account teased the clip of the thematically fitting car for the game that is based on Quadra Type-66 car. Furthermore, the clip also teases another area apart from dystopian Night City.

The desert-like area shown in the game is called Badlands that has two active gangs—the Wraiths and the Aldecados. Both gangs always fight against each other in the Badlands. The Wraiths gang owns the Mad Max-inspired vehicle. The shiny and eternal machine houses 100 horsepower, which will definitely make the riding cool.

Cyberpunk 2077 reportedly has six regions across the game, in which a player takes the role of skilled mercenary and hacker, V to explore the open-world. The highly anticipated game debuts on September 17. CD Projekt announced that it would conduct a news broadcast event titled, Night City Wire, where we are hoping we might see the first extended gameplay of the upcoming video-game. Cyberpunk 2077 uses the heavy-duty REDengine 4 game engine for the amazing in-game experience.
