ABOUT ANGELINA JOLIE:
Her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, was an actress, and her father, Jon Voight, is the Oscar winner. She made her first debut at the age of 5 with her father in the movie “Looking for the exit.” When she was 16, she was employed as a model. She played her first serious role in 1993 in the movie “Cyborg 2”. Her acting skills were appreciated.
Recently, she has shared her health-related issues and struggles. She revealed that she had a BRCA1 gene, due to which she was put at high risk for breast and ovarian cancer. In 2013, she had her breasts removed, and in 2015, she had her ovaries and fallopian tube removed. According to her, she blamed her health issues for focusing on others and neglecting herself like mothers in many families. She said, “Sometimes, women in families put themselves last until it manifests itself in their own health.”
She is recently diagnosed with Bell’s palsy and hypertension too. She revealed this in an interview with Vanity Fair for the cover of their September issue. It is a condition where one-sided muscles on the face become weakened or paralyzed that cause a droop. It’s symptoms go away on their own. It is caused by damage to the facial nerve that is its seventh cranial nerve. She is going through a stressful phase in her life.
There is also a link between Bell’s palsy and diabetes. Hypertension is related to high blood pressure, and it is caused due to so many factors, mainly stress. Due to aging, it also becomes common. It basically means that when the pressure in your blood vessels becomes too high. It can be reduced by limiting alcohol and salt intake.
We can only pray for her good health so that She Recovers Fast and the Doctors are Already doing their Best!!
